Happy New Year!

Today is the day that many will proclaim, “Out with the old and in with the new!”.

Calendars will be replaced.

New Year’s Resolutions will be set (and possibly broken).

On New Year’s Day we see such potential.

We hope for new opportunities to arise, for promises to be fulfilled, and for long-awaited changes to be made.

But sweet friend, whatever 2023 holds, you don’t have to wait for a specific day to experience something new.

In Christ, we can walk every day in a newness of life!

Just as we said goodbye to 2022 last night, God says goodbye to all of our faults and failures when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.

We begin each day with new mercies and, if we mess up during the day, we can get a new start right then and there through repentance. All we have to do is turn around!

Praise God for He is good to forgive and forget!

Praise His name for He is constantly making all things new!
