Greater Love

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

John 15:13

Thank you to the men and women who have served to keep the peace, to keep us safe, to bring peace and safety and relief to strangers in a foreign land, to combat genocide and the power hungry forces of evil in this world. Your sacrifice is known to us and we are thankful for you and your service. Your heart and your works are seen by God and He knows the good you do all over the world. There is no greater love than a man lay down his life for others. The willingness to put it all on the line is the ultimate showing of love. Christ laid down his life for us out of love so that we would have a path to salvation. You put yours on the line so that we can have a world where people are free to hear about the path to God and to choose whether or not to follow it.

This is the greatest gift, freedom to tell and to hear about the wondrous love of God and the sacrifice Christ made for us, but also the freedom to choose to have a personal relationship with Christ and with the Father. God desires all of His creation to have a personal relationship with Him and to love Him above all else. Love and deep relationships have to be personally chosen and nurtured. God bless our service men and women for protecting all of our freedoms but most of all, from me, thank you for protecting our freedom to choose to learn and to choose to believe and worship God as the Bible teaches and God leads and not as man might dictate.

Veterans, thank you for your service!
