Dr. Andrea N. Lemon

Before I ever wrote my first devotion, I was a middle school English teacher and then a coordinator in my state’s education agency. Over the years, God has taught me to examine education through His eyes, and I can’t help but notice how many of our commonly accepted teaching practices create punitive learning environments; environments that produce stumbling blocks and make sharing the Gospel with students, families, and colleagues even more difficult than the public nature of the work already makes it.

The content, devotions, and resources on this page are dedicated to my Brothers and Sisters in Christ who have been called to teach. Christian colleagues, as the day of Christ’s return draws nearer, it is increasingly imperative that the teaching practices of Christian educators in public education serve as undeniable proof of the transformative, life-giving power of Jesus Christ.

I pray “The Fruitful Educator” can help you do just that!

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”

Teaching Practices that Testify (louder than words!)

Your students need you, but more importantly they need to experience the love of God through you and see Jesus in you. You may be wondering, “Is that even possible in a public school classroom?”

I assure you friend, it is.

Working in a public school can make it feel difficult to share the Gospel but implementing the biblically based teaching practices shared in the free resource below will surely testify (louder than words)!

Filled with tried and true teaching practices built on the foundation of God’s Word, the first installment of Teaching Practices that Testify addresses how to share God’s love with your students through the creation of a peace-filled classroom.

The links below go to Amazon.com where you can purchase paperback and Kindle versions of the Teaching Practices that Testify resources. I have recently dropped the prices to provide the resources as close to “printing or posting cost only” as I could

It was always my desire to be able to provide these resources and any related teachings I may be asked to do related to them for FREE as a ministry. When I first wrote them though, I was self-employed, and, in all truth, I let the enemy overwhelm me with financial fears and put a price tag them. Since then, God has provided me with full-time income as the director of my church’s early learning center. Praise God! He always makes a way! Below are both Teaching Practices that Testify resources as FREE downloads!
