Andrea Lemon, Ed.D.

I am first and foremost a Follower of Jesus Christ. I am also a wife, a mother of three ranging in age from middle school to college, and a professional educator with 12 years of teaching experience and 6 years of experience in the state department of education.

In August of 2022, the Lord led me to take a break from public education to reset spiritually and pursue deeper levels of ministry work. In addition to writing the devotions found here on “The Fruitful Educator”, I am:

compiling older writings into thematic devotional books

writing a discipleship book for Christian educators

developing a series of workshops for Christian educators

I also continue to serve my local church as a member of the choir and praise team and as a volunteer leader for our children’s ministry and children’s musical programming.

Recently, I’ve been hired to open and administer a Christian early learning center in my community. I’m not writing quite as often, but I hope to be back at it once we are fully opened (Goal: mid-summer 2024)!
