Surely Saturday was a terrible day. The disciples were scattered. The followers of Christ were in mourning. The Savior was dead. All hope seemed lost. BUT God – great is His name and full of glory! – God was the same that Saturday as He was every Saturday before and will be every Saturday forevermore.

God Almighty knew victory was coming on Sunday morning!

Dear heart, some seasons may feel like that long Saturday, like all hope is gone, like our Savior has abandoned us.

BUT GOD – truly there is no sweeter phrase – God is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore.

My beloved, whatever trials you face, whatever loss you suffer, whatever heartache you experience, your Sunday is coming and with it comes VICTORY!

Your Savior has not forsaken you.

He is with you in the struggle.

He has you covered in every fight.

He is holding you on your longest nights.

Hold onto to Him and believe for the victory He’s already seen!

Hold onto Him and watch His resurrection power transform every bad situation, every lost cause, into a miracle that only He could do!
