2-11-23 Saturday Encouragement

In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.

John 1:4

We all need more light in our lives. We may say, “I’m fine” or “I have it under control”, but the truth is we’re all at least a little broken in some area of our lives; we all have something in our lives that isn’t quite under control.

Let us be bold in our acknowledgement of need. Let us come confidently to the throne of grace knowing that God will heal our brokenness and bring His order to our chaos. Let us look out for one another, look beyond the statements of “ok, fine, under control” so that we may discern and meet one another’s needs, so that we may lift up prayer on each other’s behalf.

Beloved, Jesus died that we might live and then defied death allowing us to walk in the light of His everlasting life.

We can never have too much light. There’s no situation that Jesus won’t light up or mountain that He won’t climb up. Let His piercing light reveal your hurts so that they may be healed, your needs that they may be met. Shine His light into the lives of those around you that all may see the hope and life that come through Christ Jesus.
