As we reflect on all that has been 2022, it is easy to become wrapped up in could haves and should haves and would haves.

Sweet friend, take some time to smile and laugh today about all that has been good and lovely and pure in 2022; remember those who have gone on to be with the Lord this year and, though grief may come in waves, rejoice knowing that they are forever free from the troubles of this world and that you, Believer, will see them again, shining bright and joyous in the light and glory of our Great God!

Take some time today to look forward to 2023 and to anticipate God’s promise that He is doing a new thing. He is making a way for you in 2023, a way to grow closer to Him, a way toward healing, toward love, toward understanding – whatever you need, He is making a way through your personal wilderness; He is making rivers in the deserts of your life!
