God uses the unlikely!
Jerusalem is God’s chosen city, and yet He chose a humble stable in the smaller town of Bethlehem as the birthplace of the King of Kings, His Son Jesus.
Dear heart, throughout the Bible we see again and again that God uses the unlikely for His divine work:
- Abraham and Sarah were barren…
- Jacob was a liar and a cheat…
- Moses had a stutter…
- Rahab was a harlot…
- David was an adulterer…
- Mary was a teenager and Joseph was a carpenter…
- Most of Jesus’ disciples were fishermen, but there was also a tax collector, a zealot, and a thief…
God doesn’t measure value or importance like we do. All are precious in His sight. For everyone He has a purpose in His Kingdom and a role in His divine plan!
Beloved, God never counts you out! There’s nothing He can’t do in you, through you, or for you!
